Welcome to Resist App (“Resist”, “the App”). By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. About Resist

Resist is a self-improvement and educational mobile application designed to help users build healthier habits and reduce compulsive pornography consumption through tracking, motivation, and educational content.

The App is operated by the developer, based in the United Kingdom.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Resist.

By using the App, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

3. Educational Content Disclaimer

The App may include educational, motivational, or informational content related to pornography habits, self-control, mental wellbeing, and behaviour change.

This content:

  • is provided for general informational purposes only;

  • does not constitute medical, psychological, or professional healthcare advice;

  • should not be relied upon as a substitute for licensed professional treatment or diagnosis.

Some topics discussed within the App may involve evolving scientific or psychological research and may contain opinions, interpretations, or simplified educational summaries.

If you are experiencing mental health difficulties, compulsive behaviour, addiction-related concerns, or emotional distress, you should seek support from a qualified healthcare professional.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Resist offers paid subscription features.

All purchases and subscription payments are processed through:

  • Apple App Store, or

  • Google Play Store.

The App does not directly process or store your payment information.

Subscriptions:

  • renew automatically unless cancelled;

  • can be managed or cancelled through your Apple or Google account settings;

  • are subject to the billing terms of Apple and Google.

The developer is not responsible for payment processing handled by third-party platforms.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • misuse the App;

  • attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or exploit the App;

  • interfere with the App’s operation or security;

  • use the App for unlawful purposes.

The developer may suspend or terminate access to the App if these Terms are violated.

6. No User Accounts

Resist does not currently require user accounts or login functionality.

Some app data may be stored locally on your device or managed through platform services necessary for subscriptions and analytics.

7. Third-Party Services

The App may rely on trusted third-party services including:

  • RevenueCat;

  • Apple App Store services;

  • Google Play services.

These services may process limited technical or subscription-related information according to their own privacy policies and terms.

The developer is not responsible for third-party services outside of the App.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, design, logos, graphics, and software associated with Resist are owned by the developer unless otherwise stated.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially use any part of the App without permission.

9. Availability

The developer does not guarantee that the App will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.

Features may change, be updated, or removed at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • the App is provided “as is” and “as available”;

  • the developer makes no warranties regarding results, effectiveness, or uninterrupted operation.

The developer shall not be liable for:

  • indirect or consequential damages;

  • loss of data;

  • loss of profits;

  • personal decisions made based on App content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under United Kingdom law.

Any disputes relating to these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
